On the O’Reilly Factor tonight Bill Maher gave the definition of faith as the “purposeful suspension of critical thinking.” So the leftist/socialist philosophy is based on faith, because its believers are willing to purposely suspend critical thinking and say that “this time” big government and a centrally planned economy will work, it spite of the fact that it has never, ever worked anywhere it has been tried.
