Making large soft drinks illegal is a harbinger of the real agenda of the left, which is to control people. Are we far from just coming right out and making fat people illegal?
If the goal is not simply to expand government with more regulations, police powers, laws, lawyers and interference, then what could the real goal be? Could it be to combat obesity? If so, why not just cut to the chase and make it illegal to be obese?
All the logic that applies to control of soft drinks applies to the weight of people.
Fortunately, if people get fed up enough (ha!), they can vote with their feet.
