The Obama administration defends the Benghazi inaction with “we were waiting for the facts”. This is a bald-faced lie.
They were not waiting for the facts at all. They had instead taken the initiated to over and over declare “let me be perfectly clear: this was a spontaneous mob action instigated by a video”. It is well known how emphatically and often they said this, via Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Jay Carney, and the President himself.
They would not have made all these damning statements had they been truly “waiting for the facts”. No, it is clear that they had made up their minds to perpetrate a coverup, rather than either “waiting for the facts” or disclosing the facts they already had.
So stop it about “waiting for the facts.”
