Obama spins the health care bill argument

President Obama has been widely quoted on the health care bill to have said the following:

We’d be misreading the election if we thought that the American people want to see us for the next two years re-litigate the arguments that we had for the last two years.

Typical spin, in that the argument was never litigated in the sense of having both sides be able to present their case to an impartial jury. In this case the jury was the Democrat-controlled congress, with the ability to ramrod the result.

Secondly, the majority of the American people would be happy if ObamaCare could be overturned and replaced in a matter of weeks. This of course will not happen, as the replacement will take some time.
