Dear Mr. Akin,
I am not familiar with your positions and service to your state or our country, but I have heard about the unfortunate remark about rape.
Please do not listen to those who are trying to convince you to stay in the race. They are wrong.
You will not only lose by a gigantic landslide, but you will set back the Republican cause for years to come. There will be a never ending, overwhelming, deafening roar that could overcome every other issue. Not because of real basis in fact, but what the Democrat smear machine can do, and will be relentless in doing.
You will hurt Romney, and could seriously change a huge winner in November into a huge loser.
Please reconsider, and withdraw your candidacy now.
