During arguments before the Supreme Court on Obamacare, even the Supremes brought up the constitutionality of having the government being able to force the purchase of burial insurance, eating broccoli and buying a Chevy, among other compulsions.
While these counter arguments may seem to point out the flaw in the positions of the liberals, if you think about it, you would probably agree that in fact the totalitarian liberals in their hearts really do want to be able to compel the purchase of burial insurance, eating broccoli and buying a Chevy, among other compulsions.
I can just see them “jumping for joy in their hearts”, saying “yes, yes, yes”, we would love to get to that point where government can make such compulsions.
Henceforth, I will no longer say “liberal” — I will replace that word with “totalitarian liberal.”
