Liberal = Faith; Conservative = Science

Some people equate Conservative with “faith-based”, and Liberals with “science-based.”

In fact, it is the reverse.

Liberal ideas are “faith-based” — because in spite of all evidence to the contrary, they believe that “tax and spend, big government” solutions work. Or that they “should” work, because it is the job of government to perfect us.

Conservative ideas are “science-based” because they have been proven countless times to be the most effective way to create health, wealth, wisdom and happiness. And that the role of the government should be to protect us, to give us an orderly society, and then get out of the way.
