“Make government smaller?” – I don’t believe you

When you say “make government smaller” — I say “I don’t believe you” — unless you say exactly how small.

Better put our money where your mouth is and make it real. “Smaller” to me is just a euphemism for “business as usual.” Unless you say exactly how small you want it to be.

Management of a business or a government needs to have real targets. Not fuzzy feelings.

So, when any politician promises he or she is for smaller government, ask “how small?” Their answer will clue you in on how real they are and whether you can believe their story.
