What is Classical Liberalism?

“Classical Liberalism” is most closely aligned in the present day with Libertarianism. Usually when we speak of “Liberals”, especially in these pages, we mean pretty much the opposite of Classical Liberalism, which is Socialism.

  6. Spontaneous Order
  7. Free Markets
  8. Toleration
  9. Peace
