Punish Syria for use of nerve gas

Punishing any country for acts of war? Really? So it is now the expanding role of the US as World Policeman to punish.

In fact this is just another example of “not letting a crisis go to waster.”Just an excuse to expand government power because of some perceived crisis.

But killing is killing, and it does not matter how. If a regime is bloodthirsty to the extent that we must declare war, then take it to Congress to declare such a war.

Why not punish Chicago for its murdering of its own citizens? Crazy? Of course, but there seems to be no “crisis” there to justify a government power grab. At least they have not figured that one out yet. Oh wait, they have. Gun control!
