Why don’t those who champion oppressed minorities rise up about the flagrant discrimination again the rights of the Wealthy? Probably because this minority is not seen as being oppressed, but is more typically cast in the role of the oppressors.
However, in a strange turn, the mechanisms of government power are now being systematically driven towards depriving the rights of this minority. Their rights are being curtailed by confiscation of property via progressive taxation, loss of voice in the “one man – one vote” rule, and a vast assault in the form of ad hominem attacks.
The role of the wealthy also include the functions of job-giver, innovator, and improver of living standards. Have you “hugged a rich person” today in gratitude? I didn’t think so.
Yet without recognition of the benefits provided by the wealthy, we are bound to be dragged down under the destruction of class warfare.
