I am tired of hearing the argument about how much worse it would have been without the stimulus, or any other of the Obama government takeover of the private sector.
There is just much likelihood that things would have been better.
There is no way to prove either case. To try to claim either one is just spouting your own philosophy. It is no different than my elephant protector, which works because I don’t see any elephants. You cannot prove a negative. Which is what the whole “it would have been worse” is all about.
It’s time for all such “it would have been worse,” and “saved jobs,” etc. to go away.
You might as well say that “the failed policies of the Bush administration did not fail because things would have been worse without them.”
So just stop it!
